Well, the oil is no longer gushing out of the BP well. We will continue to buy from our reputable vendors and fishermen who understand how important it is to keep our seafood supply safe while nature begins to heal itself. We continue to serve all of the items on our menu as before the spill.
F.Y.I. Gulf Coast and Louisiana seafood is still an excellent choice. As of today, ~ 65% of the Gulf is still open to commercial fishing. Wildlife and Fisheries, DHH, and a number of other government agencies are carefully monitoring closed fishing areas and commercial fishing boats making sure our seafood supply remains safe and untainted by oil or harmful chemicals.
